Neighborhood transfers are transfers to schools that are not magnet schools. We approve in-district neighborhood transfers based on space available in the requested grade at the requested school.
The current state budget crisis may affect our district funding for the 2018-19 school year. Our neighborhood transfer approval/denied notifications could be delayed until late July.
We will accept applications for transfer to neighborhood schools for the 2018-2019 on the following dates:
Applications will be available to print and bring to the Enrollment Center during the transfer dates listed above.
If a student does not live in Tulsa Public Schools district, but wants to attend a TPS school:
If a student lives in the Tulsa Public Schools district, but would like to attend another school district, he or she must have an out-of-district transfer. There are two types:
